A Taste of Italy with Bruno Gambacorta

“Eat Parade – Discovering out of the ordinary characters, stories, recipes and products” is the title of the book written by Rai journalist Bruno Gambacorta, guest of the Wine Station episode aired tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 22, on the frequencies of Antenna Radio Esse (91.25; 93.2; 93.5; 99.1 FM) from 12.10 to 13. Gambacorta’s is a journey that leads to the discovery of 35 fascinating stories, unveiled throughout 13 years of successful programming on Rai Due. Wine Station will also present the new artistic wine label created by Pierre Alechinsky exclusively for the Chianti Classico “Casanuova di Nittardi” of the Fattoria Nittardi of Castellina in Chianti. The owner Peter Femfert will also discuss the exhibition of the entire collection of labels in Florence at the Galleria di Palazzo Coveri. For the events section Alfredo Millo, President of the Associazione Tartufai della Val di Cecina, will present Volterra Gusto, an event scheduled over the weekend, explaining strengths and weaknesses of this autumn’s white truffles collection. Finally, the other star this week is the extra virgin olive oil. In Florence, the restaurant “Olio & Convivium” is the ideal place to taste it in all its interpretations and buy a few bottles to enjoy at home.
