Wine Station between Champagne and Amarone of the Valpolicella

After the special dedicated to the harvest in the vineyards of Siena and Tuscany, Wine Station tomorrow (Saturday, 8 October, from 12.10 to 13 on Antenna Radio Esse) hops over to the Valpolicella to know what this vintage promises for a great Italian wine: the Amarone. Winemaker Giuseppe Nicolis will be our guest from the homonym Venetian company that has just celebrated 60 years of life. But before we get to that, make some space for “the” bubbles by definition, those of Champagne in the company of the Italian Ambassador, Andrea Gori. The ” computer sommelier ” speaks of the challenge to win the European title that awaits him next week and recommends the best bottles worth uncorking. For the events section, it is the opening day of the first edition of Tuscany Wine, the Tuscan wine exhibition held in Arezzo. In the company of Raul Barbieri of Arezzo Fiere e Congressi, Wine Station will be present at the official event which aims to raise the daily consumption of wine. Finally, for the classical cuisine section, here is the Enoteca della Fornace, just opened by Gabriele Bassi in the heart of the Chianti region. You can listen to Wine Station on Antenna Radio Esse (91.25; 93.2; 93.5; 99.1 FM) from 12,10 to 13 or in streaming at
