Chef Gualtiero Marchesi at the Wine Station mike

Star chef Gualtiero Marchesi is the honorary guest of the Wine Station episode aired tomorrow, Saturday  October 1st  from 12,10 to 13 on Antenna Radio Esse. In the company of the Master of Italian Cuisine, Wine Station will also discuss the theme “2002-2011 – Ten years of catering in Italy” at the conference organized by Confesercenti of Siena for Tuesday, October 4. Among the other protagonists of the episode  Michele Manelli, President of Salcheto, the company of Montepulciano which opened the first winery “off-grid” in Italy, meaning self-sufficient from the traditional power grid. With Simonetta Doni, from Doni & Associati in Florence, we will discuss the importance of the label when buying a bottle of wine. Finally, for the section dedicated to taste, the peculiar visit to the Officina Alimentare Italiana in Castagneto Carducci, in the province of Livorno. Among the many goodies of Maurizio Baschi’s company we discover the “pappa al pomodoro” bio, in a jar.
