25 years of Slow Food on Wine Station

Wine Station is also celebrating 25 years of Slow Food. The episode airs tomorrow, Saturday, June 18, from 12.10 to 13 on Antenna Radio Esse. Marco Bechi from the Mercatale of Sovicille will illustrate the Slow Food Day events, scheduled throughout Tuscany to celebrate the birthday of the “Snail”, born in 1986. Up next, the Tuscan Wine School, the service active in Siena, in Stalloreggi, teaching all the secrets of wine to foreigners on holiday. Rebecca Christophersen (aka Rebecca “Wine”) will explain how the school works, offering tastings, winery visits and educational insights. For the events section, Wine  Station makes a stop at the Sant’Appiano farm in Barberino Val d’Elsa, where the third edition of Sant’Appiano d’Autore, starring the work of artist Paul Staccioli, opens tomorrow. Finally, in the usual space dedicated to taste, Giuseppe Calabrese of the Repubblica presents the new guide dedicated to restaurants in Florence and Tuscany, already on newsstands throughout the region with many tips on restaurants, gastronomy places, wine and oil producers, as well as the best “flavor routes”.
