The Unification of Italy Celebrated with the Chianti Classico of Barone Ricasoli, and the Menu of Filippo La Mantia

Although two days late, Wine Station also celebrates the Unification of Italy with an episode aired tomorrow, Saturday, March 19 from 12.10 to 13 on Antenna Radio Esse, dedicated to the tricolor flavors. Protagonists will be the Chianti Classico of Barone Ricasoli and an interview with Francesco Ricasoli, the great grandson of the “Iron Baron” Bettino and current leader of Italy’s oldest winery. For the flavors, however, the Sicilian chef Filippo La Mantia will compose for the listeners the Wine Station Unification menu, based on “Pasta alla Norma”. The events of the weekend will route to San Giovanni Valdarno: Valeria Carbone will tell us how to bring Italy together thanks to the Festival of Street Food. Sunday, March 20 will feature fried foods, tripe and the cake “del testo” in the streets of Arezzo. Finally, the inevitable stop at the restaurant will take place on the Tyrrhenian coast with “Garibaldi Innamorato” in Piombino. Roberto Filippeschi will explain the musical origins of his restaurant and present the dishes made ​​with fish.
